A little surprised at Jarvis Jones release. Looks like Knapp and Howard are the import OLs on the roster. I like that decision as I was really impressed with Howard.

Will Ford not listed on either injury list so looks like he'll play this week.

Still 2 PR spots open. I suspect those are for other teams cuts we'll be picking up.

Yep just noticed that too. First I've heard of him being injured. I know O'Shea wasn't impressed with him taking a "veteran day" off earlier in camp. Maybe something is up there...

Maybe he isn't 100%. Didn't get many reps or show much at tc or pre-season games. In fact, even during skellys at practice he looked to have lost a step. Or two. I wonder if he is having trouble 'buying in' to the Etch world view.

I think he did, but got hurt really early in camp.

No real surprises here- Jones seems to have lost the edge he had last year. Maybe he never got over his injury?

Surprised by the OL Jones released but there are couple of National OL out there we can pickup so that's OK.

 

LB Eisho is agood story but good story wont mae the team alone. Plus, there are also interesting National LB/ST'er available that could be better than him.

With Brett Carter getting cut I have to imagine that we're going to look at signing a guy like Etienne.

I wonder what the secondary will look like with Banks and Suber out.  I'm guessing Unamba will be in at nickel, Leggett at safety, and Johnny Sears in Suber's halfback spot... maybe Bruce Johnson slots in somewhere though.

lol...in Etch''s system  you never really know which player is playing which position.  So does it really matter

Relax, cuts just came down last night.  Nobody is signing with anyone yet.
