June 22, 201411 yr comment_59212 Yeah, especially because of all the Poaching the BCJFL does in all the other provinces. They really clean up at the Junior level While BC does poach, they don't play at the same level as the prairie conference. PFC teams have won 4 of the last 5, 7 of the last 10, and 15 of the last 20 national championships. By far the dominant junior football is on the prairies. True enough
June 22, 201411 yr comment_59213 Think that needs to be in next CBA is that junior players be draft legible. I disagree. That would kill junior football. All junior teams rely on funding from their local cfl clubs.
June 22, 201411 yr comment_59216 Didier Orméjuste @DidierRDS 3m Expect SB Jamel Richardson (knee) to start the season on the 6-game injured list or he could also be released. #Alouettes #CFL

June 22, 201411 yr comment_59219 Definitely some interesting Canadian names in that list from Edmonton. Gregory Alexandre sticks out as someone we might be interested in. I don't know what ever happened to Gord Hinse. He was supposed to be their starting centre of the future but then it never really happened.

June 22, 201411 yr Author comment_59222 Edmonton released a couple Canadian DLs. Hope Walters has a look. Eskimos with some interesting National talent there.

June 22, 201411 yr comment_59225 Hinse and Hartmann cut? Give me either one. How 'bout both of them? Wait Hartmann is a draftee by Esks, is it possible he's returning back to school?
June 22, 201411 yr comment_59227 I don't want him, but Sands is an interesting cut. He had Edmonton staffers thinking they had the second coming of Pat Watkins on their hands .... until he played in a game.
June 22, 201411 yr comment_59228 The thing about Hinse is that he couldn't beat out Justin Sorensen or Brian Ramsay for a job with the Esks....
June 22, 201411 yr comment_59229 The more I think about it ... Gord Hinse is a big name, but realistically, without knowing the situation, it seems as if he got beat out by Justin Sorenson for a job. ^^ wizard above me
June 22, 201411 yr Author comment_59230 The thing about Hinse is that he couldn't beat out Justin Sorensen or Brian Ramsay for a job with the Esks.... No one is saying he'd start for us. But he could be some good depth allowing us to start 4 NIs on the OL. Our NI OL depth is weak now.

June 22, 201411 yr comment_59233 Rather than go after Hinse, I'd claim Billy Peach immediately. At least force Calgary's hand.
June 22, 201411 yr comment_59234 Lot's of decent National players released or put to PR. We can definitely get some help here.
June 22, 201411 yr comment_59235 Peach would be more what we need than Hinse anyways. Depth at guard. He's good enough to be on our 46. Actually, I think he's good enough to be on a lot of 46 man rosters.
