this is how i spell it until the team gets it that nobody will use capital letters. bad enough i hate the name but to insist on capitals when spelling it? screw them.

I will only use Ottawa when referring to the team from the capital region of Canada.

If you have a stupid name, you are probably the Ottawa Redblacks, the third Canadian Football League team to call our nation's capital its home.

 

 

i don't mind the name, it's growing on me..

 

think about it, if this was winnipeg getting a team in 2014 and they were called the blue bombers, people would hate that name too.

I guess it's a bit more original than the "Winnipegs" which the early Winnipeg team was called 

I still think they should have Steve Smith as an investor and then the team could be "The RedGreens". Rod Black could be the PR hack and Vanna White the mascot.

i don't mind spelling REDBLACKS in all capital letters, i just do it differently.

Zontar, for sure, Winnipeg has a much, much better stadium but enjoy your state of the art 1950's stadium.

For a guy who doesn't use caps for his own name or the Ticats is using caps like that for the RedBlacks the equivalent of all caps to others.

Sask lost some good players but still have enough to compete with Calgary and Glenn going to BC gives them instant competitiveness. I expect Toronto and Hammy to fight it out in the East but even if Montreal's quarterbacking is good, there are too many holes and changes for them to be much better than Ottawa.
