Only Tom Selleck could play Thomas Magnum. I used to watch that show regularly back in the 80's. Plus Higgins is now a woman. I guess in today's world an all male cast just isn't politically correct. It didn't seem at all like the old show & if not, why bother? They could have had an original action drama cop show from Hawaii & people would watch it.

Although some of the things are products of the time, like robbing a truck of pokemon cards, watching laser disc, the new medium of DVD, those singing fish that were all the rage etc. James Gandolfini deserved all the awards.
