I like experimenting with cheap wine. Who can recommend some good but reasonably priced wine?

 

I like Beringer Cabernet - it's an American wine that sells for 9.99. Good stuff  for that price.

 

Sutter Homes White Zinfandel &/or Moscatto. Inexpensive but nice.

I've never been a dedicated wine drinker, but this is my go-to wine. A reasonably priced and consistently tasty Canadian merlot. 

Hot girls like pinot grigio. That's really all I know

not a big wine fan at all, not even that big of a fan of alcohol in general but... moscatto is a really good wine for sure. 

I know virtually nothing about wine but I have developed an affinity for red (at a decent restaurant I will usually order a glass of house red which ranges from good to swill depending on where you go).

 

My go-to wine lately is Coppola red diamond collection.  About $20 at the LC.  Very good.

Epica is a really good red wine from Chile; Most of my friends who try it take a picture of the label to remember next time they go to the LC. $15

Chile produces some good inexpensive red wines.  US Zinfandel is a big red that's not too expensive, 'Old Vines' make a bigger and better wine..    Canuck's make better white's than reds, especially the Kelowna wineries, look for VQA on the label.  Italy and France make good reds and good whites, but the cost is up there due to shipping and taxes.

There's a Hungarian wine called Bull's Blood.  Sold for about $6 back in the day.  Awful awful stuff.  Sour grape juice cut with diesel fuel.

 

Not positive on the price, think it's under $12 - Jacob's Creek is a nice Australian Shiraz.  Tastes about the same as Wolf Blass yellow label and costs $6(?) less.
