Most fanbases wouldn't be concerned about their #3 QB needing to win games for them.  Unfortunately we've watched our third-string QB start at least one game for us in each of the last 5 seasons.  How sad is that.

A worse stat might be that we haven't had the same Quarterback lead the team in yardage in back to back years since Kevin Glenn in 2007 and 2008.

Ouch!

Wow, Pat White, former West Virgina QB, is an Edmonton Eskimo. #cfl

Pretty sure he was on the Bombers' neg list for quite some time.

Quite right.

Here's more: April 11 2011

WHITE OFF BLUE RADAR: The Bombers have removed former West Virginia star Pat White from their neg list, according to a CFL executive. White, drafted by the Miami Dolphins but released in 2009, had turned his attention to baseball but stepped away from an opportunity with the Kansas City Royals last month. Winnipeg opted to move on as there were questions about whether White was going to continue with his football career and because they have some other QB prospects they find interesting, particularly with those free agents that don't get drafted in the NFL later month likely to look north for opportunities.

All that means is he wants to play out his optional d test the NFL interest. Certainly not anything unusual.

you think he has a shot? I don't..

Maybe he wants out of bc, maybe he just wants to test the market.. To assume it's "just" for NFL reasons is a little goofy if you ask me.. Specially as he didn't really wow anyone this year..
