January 16, 201411 yr comment_35324 Good riddance. Why so bitter? being a bomber fan isn't reason enough?
January 16, 201411 yr comment_35383 (stupid Sun. The article says his career began in 1995, but the Posse were a thing in 1994.) Hell yeah it was!! Oh wait, you said Posse...never mind
January 16, 201411 yr comment_35384 I thought my AC retired in my truck last summer. Gave her a quick recharge and BAM cool as a cucumber.
January 16, 201411 yr comment_35386 Put him in a wheelchair and replace his (non-throwing) arm with a traffic cone and he's still better than our current QB line-up. #joemack
January 16, 201411 yr comment_35387 to hell with that guy for everything he did to us in the mid-2000s. I couldn't possibly be happier to hear he'll be gone...
January 17, 201411 yr Author comment_35399 C'mon you guys, it's not AC's fault the Bombers have been such a shitty team. Guy is one of the best ever, it's been a privilege to watch him.
January 17, 201411 yr comment_35400 He's been outstanding the last decade of his career. It took him the first decade to figure things out as a qb. Unbelievable career.
January 17, 201411 yr comment_35408 Only because he wasn't good enough to play NFL. Flutie, Dickenson and possibly Ray are better QBs with shorter track records...
January 17, 201411 yr comment_35414 No, not the best CFL qb over his career but he has thrown for most yardage. What would Flutie had done yardage wise if he never went back to the NFL???
January 17, 201411 yr comment_35424 AC benefited a ton from having such a good team around him, primarily one of the best OL of all time.
January 17, 201411 yr comment_35426 In fairness, if you were old enough to remember the early 2000s................
January 17, 201411 yr comment_35428 our post-Ritchie era thru to Doug Berry is full of some truly awful memories of games vs Montreal. One of the only highlights (...and it's BARELY a highlight...) was the game from 2004 (2005??) when we won something like 52-45 (??)...and Kamau Peterson actually called it on the old OB.com 'cause they'd apparently designed a gameplan for that specific game, all the way back in April of that year. Sigh...not a good era.....f*** everything about Calvillo and the Als...
January 17, 201411 yr comment_35429 Best CFL QB career ever? no. You think Damon Allen is above him? No definitely not, but I can't call Calvillo the best anything when he was gifted an easy division and STILL choked as often as he did in the playoffs. That many Grey Cup appearances he should have won a lot more than he did and his failure to do so is a giant black mark on his career.
