June 20, 201312 yr comment_5532 I defer to the expert engineers who have inspected and certified the stadium as being safe. Find me a single concrete building that has no cracks.

June 20, 201312 yr comment_5541 if it's not structural stuff that's cracking then it's really just an eyesore and nothing more. Seal it and it's not a big deal.
June 20, 201312 yr comment_5542 Even hydro dams have cracks in the concrete... ...non-issue, they can handle it internally
June 20, 201312 yr comment_5545 Man, the ground shifts a bit & the concrete cracks. Happens all the time. Right away the news media jumps on it like the stadium is going to collapse. Did you see the comments left by readers? Haters are coming out of the woodwork. The comments are disgraceful.

There only one thing worse than comments on CBC articles...comments on Free Press articles.
June 20, 201312 yr comment_5549 Meh, not a surprise given the rush. They were still pouring and cutting (egress for field level) concrete during rookie camp. The shabby, ugly last minute work they had to do to get occupancy should be more of a concern.
June 20, 201312 yr comment_5550 Meh, not a surprise given the rush. They were still pouring and cutting (egress for field level) concrete during rookie camp. Concrete always cracks...rushing had nothing to do with it.
June 20, 201312 yr comment_5552 Concrete always cracks...rushing had nothing to do with it. They're talking about the size of the cracks, not the fact that it did crack.
June 20, 201312 yr comment_5558 Problems occur when cracks are not dealt with when they happen. There are hairline cracks that will happen all the time. The bigger ones should be treated, and properly sealed so that water can't get in and freeze, which seems to be what they are doing.
