Posted October 12, 201311 yr comment_25103 I went to practice today. Was very cold/windy so I didn't stay until the end. A few observations:1. Crazy number of OLs at practice. I counted 14. Starters were January, Morley, Sorensen, Greaves and Jones.2. New OL Patrick Neufeld couldn't run, he could only walk. Was in noticeable pain if he tried to run/jog. I wonder if his shin injury is worse than the team is letting on.3. Practiced a fake punt. 4. Renaud's punting looked terrible.5. New DEs Griggs and McaDoo got lots of reps. Don't think either will start this week, but both could play.6. Karl Fitzgerald got reps at tight end. That should help with QB protection and open up a safety valve for the QB if he plays.7. Hall got first team reps but all 4 QBs got reps.
