They obviously only team to claim him right since they’re ranked 32nd on the waiver wire right now so I think that means they can send him down without. I’m not sure tho. Minneapolis has brutal winters as well. I've seen it snow here in calgary in August. One year back in the 90's, my wife & I took my In Laws from Winnipeg to see the Calgary Stampede Chuckwagon races & stage show. Early July & the temp was +2C. My father asked me, "How can you live in this place?" Players retire around 35 on average... they have maybe 50 years after hockey to live in paradise.
