And might I add Huberdeau is well worth his 10 mill a year said no one ever. He must hug his agent and kiss his feet on a daily basis.

Maybe if you're Calgary looking to win that game, maybe not the best game plan to take penalties against a team with almost 40% PP. Just sayin'

This drives me insane, the part I bolded. Yes of course let the players dictate the outcome of the game, refs should not make themselves the centre of attention but that needs to be balanced with obvious infractions need to be consistently called regardless of what stage the game is at and what the score is. Be upset if the reffing was inconsistent but don't be upset after chopping wood on one of the Jet defenseman because the game was close and they just came off killing a five on three. If anything be more disciplined next time. Rules still apply for the full 60 minutes. It's like a passing/fast lane, yes people need to move over to ensure faster traffic can move unimpeded but don't get upset if you're pulled over because of your impatience and speeding excessively in the fast lane.
