Great test tonight to confirm we be contenders not pretenders.

That was a loud True North shout during the anthem.  Lots of Jets fans.

So 3 factors on the play:

Puck over the line? Yes

Whistle? Not clear

Pushed in? Yes, but arguably Canuck pushed Scheifele into him. 

But too many “what ifs” I suppose to give the Jets the goal. 

The power play is God awful.  Way too much perimeter passing. Just shoot the damn puck

Nice choice down low by Vilardi on the PP and we are tied 1-1

Finally a proper instigator penalty after a clean hard check. Tired of this “code” where you have to fight for any body contact.

55 takes a monstrous hit to make the play. Playoff style hockey. Fun to watch especially when we come out the winners.

Canucks suck of course but wow Hughes is a player.

My favourite part of this Jets team is their confidence in playing with a 3rd period lead.

Once jets got the 4 2 lead,it was over. 

Canucks don’t seem to like when teams actually hit them back and get emotional and it shows. These guys blaming the refs after the loss shows they are the pretenders. Canucks done round 1. 
 

Tyler Meyers complaining it was like playing two teams last night along with RT upset with the officiating? 

Hmmmmmmm. I musta been watching a different game even after taking my homer glasses off. It’s not like we’re saints but sure glad TM ain’t no longer wearing a Jet uni.

He’s such a whining ***** like that entire team really. I’m happy when the Jets make sportsnet cry. Myers should shut up before the league decides to look at the JT Miler cheap shot elbow to Scheifele. Dumb refs give 55 embellishment when it’s clear on replay that Miller elbowed him. Nucks are soft, they aren’t built for the playoffs. Boston went out round 1 last year, these guys done in 5 or 6. But thanks Tyler myers for costing your team a big goal by going for a hit on a guy who decided I’ll take this idiots hit to set up a 2 on 1.

In reality didn’t realize Jets have won like 10 of last 11 or 12 in Winnipeg West. Call it that cuz almost sounded like a Jets home game.
