Ya you guys aren't wrong... Things have definitely changed. Part of it is the advent of digital and how important that is to radio now. The actual traditional broadcast is more to supplement the digital engagement in a lot of cases. Not all stations are like that, but major markets like Winnipeg tend to be.

I actually really enjoy CJOBs The Start. Mackling just seems like a genuinely good dude.

I'm not really into what Burpee does on air but everything he does is with a genuine love for the province and the city. I have mad respect for that.

There's still some good stuff out there, but in some cases it's definitely changed a lot..

Have you listened to any of Greg Macklings True Blue podcast about the 1984 team? There’s some great content on there

that sounds interesting - do you have a link?  If not I'll feebly search for it...

It's incredible. Mack is one of my favourite Winnipeg radio people.

If you don’t use Apple, it’s just part of “The Blue Bomber Podcast” on the other apps or whatever.

I hate Cancer she had been suffering from it for over a decade (hell in season 1 of 90210(G) her character found a lump in her breast and I hate how prophetic it became she did get it removed even though it coincided with the SAT's) well at least they didn't write her illness into #BH90210. She was really good on Little House too she joined late in the series (I haven't seen Our House)

I know she was kind of difficult to work with but I'm glad she made up with her 90210 co-stars before dying, I mean if the 2008 series accomplished anything it got her and Jennie Garth on speaking terms again

I wonder if PlutoTV will do a tribute channel for her

ah crap I just realized my 💩 luck with watching award shows continues, I was watching the 2006 primetime emmy awards recently and Conan gave people a reason to keep the speeches short and it involved Newhart

To those that grew up with Pokemon this might hurt  (I avoided the show mostly because YTV's Keep it Weird campaign scared me off and I defected to Teletoon)
