I mean we have beaten LA in LA and Colorado in Colorado so.  Jets are contenders regardless of tonight against the east

Hmmmmmmmmmm being a lifelong Jet fan not sure just yet, like football all phases of the game need to be clicking i.e., 5v5, PK, PP

Trying not to get too high, remembering a post Xmas slump or two in the past few years, but boy is this team looking strong right now. 

And no KC for a while still. Team is different than previous seasons. The depth is there lines 1 through 4 and they all playing the same way. Dominated Boston

U were always the biggest critic.....Jets are a Cup contender.....

yes well let's hope with the malcontents that were a part of last year's slump now banished to New York and LA, I am hopeful that the guys can keep up the intensity this year and keep the wins flowing.  The Jets are tough to deal with when all four lines are firing, most teams don't have that kind of depth to skate with us on all four lines, and we make teams pay for that.  You want to focus on Scheif and Valardi?  Ok, here's a serving of Nino for ya, with a dash of Morgan Barron on the side.  Will be interesting on the 17th of February when we play Vancouver where both teams will be at in the standings.

I as well do not want to get over excited,  but what does open my eyes is that the team is not depending on two guys putting up massive points while the goalie plays lights out in order to win.   Having 10 or so guys on pace for 50 - 80 points while playing sound defensively is a really impressive amount of depth. 

Can our defense play well in a series of 7 game finals in the spring. We aren't the biggest or most physical team. Will we get ground down in the playoffs.

It has not been a given that a big physical team wins the cup.
