I think the line between a successful CFL starter and a bum is extremely thin. That's why veteran QBs can lose their mojo so suddenly, especially after a serious injury. Like imagine if Doug Flutie was a quarter second slower at processing the game? He'd be a short yardage specialist or gadget quarterback instead of a GOAT.
