Yup. He’s their 8th D man. could be on waivers and he will pass through them because he’s not really that good. Montreal traded him for an 11 percent chance at making the nhl.

Nashville is a free agent destination. Winnipeg is not and never will be. 

Nashville is warmer climate and Tax free state.  Or you can come to Winnipeg.

 

 

Winnipeg has a joke gm and owner who has way more say than he should. They are risk adverse and just do the bombers thing of running it back. Bombers atleast won a couple cups. Jets haven’t made it out the first round in 6 years.  However today is overpay day so I’ll be happy if they stay out of it.

Columbus paying 5.5 per year x 5 for Monahan would support this premise. Sheeesh. In 2 years they'll being buying him out.

We signed Comrie as a backup … the Stanley Cup is a lock. Similar to the Bombers re-acquiring  Lucky Whitehead. It just feels good for some reason …

Regardless they still advanced, and frankly I consider the 2020 playoff run to be more of an asterisk because we ended up in Pre-offs (pre-playoffs  not regular season)

maybe I should revise the definition for pre-offs because I could swear there was like a couple of games that felt like preseason before the playoffs starts, granted I think Maybe we did make some playoffs but the 2020 playoffs are very fuzzy since the Jets didn't last very long, I think they won at least one)
