I can't find a link yet but it appears that the Bombers have signed NI receiver Taylor Renaud and cut import LB Daniel Sheffield this morning. Renaud should be on the field this morning, but the roster has not been updated to show what number he'll be wearing.

I wonder what happened with Sheffield.

Nice to see Renaud getting a shot, looking forward to seeing him in camp.

Yes I know that much, wondering why though. He was at rookie camp.

He missed yesterday to personal reasons according to the Sun. Maybe those issues were going to prevent him from showing up at all so they released him.

LB Daniel Sheffield, who had yet to report to training camp, has apparently been offered a high-school coaching gig and has decided to quit football.

"He decided he didn’t want to play football any more, which is too bad because we really liked him," said Burke.

So when Mike Renaud loses the punting spot to Brett Cameron, Taylor Renaud can take over the #9 jersey. Another Blue Bomber cost saving measure. I like it.
