I’d say they’re already done… Unofficially.  Have been for a while, realistically.

Heinola sits and Stanley plays.  Nothing against Stanley, but I don’t like that decision.

The Jets are already below a 1% chance of making the playoffs, so yeah... I'd say they're done. On to next season - and hopefully some much-needed changes.

Well new coach is a given and 50/50 or is it 55/55 on one player.

This team does not deserve to be in the playoffs. They don't seem to want to be in the playoffs either.

Yup time for some needed playing time for certain players development and/or show us what you got to end this frustrating season. 

oy it's going to be difficult for me to root for the Alberta teams in the playoffs (there's no point in rooting for Toronto they keep getting eliminated in the first round)

Well our team D allowed only 5 shots that period, and on that goal Morrissey gave it up but was back in position to handle the one on one. That goal is on Dubois, not the whole team. But if you want to split hairs, I look forward to the next time Scheifele does exactly what Dubois did and gets the benefit of “it’s a team D problem”.

Scheifele doesn't get any benefit from fans, with you being one of them obviously

How many goals were offside and counted before video replay?  Feels like there is a goal called back every other game now.

I don't know I kind of wish they'd use the Logo they had in '96 it's more nostalgic

Not sure if they are allowed due to copyright issues (although they did wear that look for Teemu Selanne’s number retirement in Anaheim in the pre-game warm-up). 

This game is looking like a carbon copy of the Ottawa loss a few weeks ago. Look like you are dominating early, get a goal called back, other team hangs around and gets a go ahead goal midway through the third, then the defence falls apart. 

Start the moose calls ups.  Season is done

 

like I already said I'm not rooting for Toronto because they get eliminated in round 1 too easily

You make some good posts, but a lot of the time you’re just trying to pick a fight… Or dangle some bait, so you can pick a fight.

Does Scheifele get more heat for stuff like that?  Yes, he does.  But it’s likely because he’s guilty of it way more often.  Dubois generally makes a lot more effort coming back on D… If you can’t see that, I don’t know what to tell you.

I thought there were too many Detroit players on the ice (but then again one is too many 🤣)
