Despite the heat they taken this year, Wheeler is on pace for 13G-52A-65P in 67 games as a 35 year old, and Scheifele in an off-year 32G-41A-73P in 76 games, and both had COVID. No, they are not defensive players, but they are paid to be scorers and at a point per game pace they aren’t as big a salary liability as some might think.
