Can we stop giving up the opening goal of the game?

maybe they should send certain players down to the moose for "Conditioning" (since that's the word they like to use) or threaten to trade them to a lesser team

Unreal that Stanley gets called for that.  And of course leads to the goal against.  FFS.

Just to be not so positive maybe KC our General Manager has overestimated the crew he thinks can do some damage and standing pat maybe isn’t the best strategy.

It's pretty crazy. Helle hasn't been great this year but he's actually signed to a solid cap hit so what it tells you.. the rest of the team blows 

Connor Ehlers Dubois Lowry Morrissey. Demelo is underrated also. and I'd actually try to sign Copp... these are the guys who try nightly

So this is a problem... Quoting Dennis Beyak:

So clearly Schmidt and Dillon didn't address the defensive holes.  Hellebyuck has had an off year and it has exposed the teams over reliance on him.

There are definitely some players that are weaker defensively, but the D core was fortified and we’re still giving up too many goals and too many high quality chances.  The system needs to change.
