I wonder who CGY rests, if anyone. I think I'd be stashing Bo on the bench and let Maier take the hits back there. Maier could use reps like any other backup who's team has clinched with nowhere to go in the standings.

I heard the Riders were going to rest the crossbars this week as they were also tired of getting hit.

I love how people always say "become a dad for the second time"... he was already a dad, you can only become a parent one time... he is just a dad of two children now...

Anyways, I am really hoping/expecting that Zach will suit up for at least the first half of this week's game... as much as I want him bubble wrapped after McGuire's performance last week... I also don't want him going a full month without any live game action...

I also didn't want Zach resting for so long, but might reconsider considering he has a new born in the house.

A walking zombie has a much greater chance of getting hit.

This scenario needs to be dealt with the "ostrich algorithm".

Darvin has been playing hurt all year.. I'm sure of it. He's been wearing something on that shoulder.

If that is the case, is the team doing him or the team any favours by playing him instead of a healthy player?

It may be a chronic injury that won't get furthered damaged by playing.

Football players like hockey players are tough and play through their injury.

Baseball and basketball players break a nail and are out.

Darvin has been around a while now.. has taken his fair share of cuts bruises nicks and whatever else... he's likely in pain most days. I can't mock a guy for putting his body on the line for my entertainment and people who do kinda piss me off

Darvin hurt his shoulder getting hit with a pass last game?

Yeah, I saw that & went hmmmm. Must be tough on his shoulders when a pass hits him in the chest cuz he's taking a play off just going thru the motions.
