May 25, 20214 yr comment_505470 Jets getting a little too fancy looking for that perfect pass. Get the puck on the net like the last game.
May 25, 20214 yr comment_505473 Even though that was a great goal, I am not happy with the over passing. But I’ll take it.
May 25, 20214 yr comment_505474 Love how cbc was showing how many times the refs were missing the penalties on the Oilers

Players didn’t bother shooting high as much in the old days when goalies played stand up. And the number of goals scored high on goalies today is much less than the number of low goals scored back in the 80’s. Goaltending has not been this good since the 1920’s when offence was stifled by the rules. Many less bad goals overall now as compared to the stand-up era. 5 minutes ago, BomberBall said: Horrible officiating. Whistles were put away in the 3rd period. Oilers figured it out so they hooked knowing they could get away with it. And Wheeler did not take that shot off the wrist. Took it square in the cup. Edited May 25, 20214 yr by TrueBlue4ever
May 25, 20214 yr comment_505479 Wheeler back! And the Oilers are where no team wants to be....one goal away from elimination.

They called 7 penalties in the first 2 periods and 4 in a row against us, then nothing. Ignoring some blatant infractions. Just be goddamn consistent. It’s all anyone can ask for. And yeah, Wheeler definitely took it in the pills.

I agree, but I’d the refs are going to look the other way the Jets need to expect that and play the same way with the semi-interference.

May 25, 20214 yr comment_505486 More free hockey. Mike Smith the biggest reason this game is still going.
May 25, 20214 yr comment_505487 Referees have put the whistles away. Of course that blatant hook on Jets 27 was uncalled.
May 25, 20214 yr comment_505489 Should the Jets roll out their 4th line now? Lewis and Thompson have not played in 2 periods and at least would be fresh.
