I want to give Morrissey some love...  He has been playing some excellent hockey, against some top shelf offensive talent.  Not to mention he’s put up some huge points.

Fun facts: - Jets tie an NHL record with 3 consecutive OT wins in one series - Connor Hellebuyck made 28 saves on 28 shots in OT in the series  - Edmonton led for 48:11 and trailed for

It may be but so many backhands or shots up high today get through when in years earlier they never did.

Players didn’t bother shooting high as much in the old days when goalies played stand up. And the number of goals scored high on goalies today is much less than the number of low goals scored back in the 80’s.  Goaltending has not been this good since the 1920’s when offence was stifled by the rules. Many less bad goals overall now as compared to the stand-up era.

Horrible officiating.

Whistles were put away in the 3rd period. Oilers figured it out so they hooked knowing they could get away with it. And Wheeler did not take that shot off the wrist. Took it square in the cup.

They called 7 penalties in the first 2 periods and 4 in a row against us, then nothing.  Ignoring some blatant infractions.  Just be goddamn consistent.  It’s all anyone can ask for.

And yeah, Wheeler definitely took it in the pills.

I agree, but I’d the refs are going to look the other way the Jets need to expect that and play the same way with the semi-interference.
