Yeah, Thornton was fined, but not Galchenyuk?  Ridiculous.  I hope we win by 3+ goals and someone puts him through the boards.

imagine if a jet hit mathews the same way. 

but teams have been doing this to the jets for a few years. league does not seem concerned.

why not head shots and boarding?

one opinion I've had since he entered the league - Joe Thornton is a giant piece of ****.  Who picks on a guy half their size?  Joe Thornton.  Man I was wishing Buff could have come out of retirement for that one game, and as Joe is cross-checking Ehlers, Buff step in and pound him right into the ground.  That would have been sweet.

If he's on your team, Thornton is a guy every single fan would love. He's just a man out there compared to everyone else. Similar to Weber... Buff is the only guy the Jets have ever had that's even comparable to their personality.
