September 23, 20231 yr comment_664181 Jets continue to show they are out of touch with their fan base. They will figure it out eventually, just like the Bombers did.
September 23, 20231 yr comment_664184 That powder blue just doesn't do it for me. Blech. Just go to the Heritage Classics full time already...
September 23, 20231 yr comment_664185 OMG. Those are hideous. The only good thing the Jets have ever done with their jerseys is going back to the old franchise looks.
September 24, 20231 yr comment_664245 They are an exact tribute to the 1948 RCAF team who I believe won a gold medal or something important They look ok to me. I won't buy one but maybe a toque. I'm also not a male fashion expert so.. I dunno. Some will buy. Some won't. Out of touch? Not really... I mean not everything they do should be a tribute to the franchise in Arizona I'd like to see a tribute jersey to the Winnipeg Falcons honestly Lots of people going to the games now, they weren't around in the 80s and 90s. They have no memory of the former franchise. Winnipeg has a rich hockey history outside the Jets also, I see no problems with them recognizing it. Not everything needs to be 80s Jets related Edited September 24, 20231 yr by Goalie
September 24, 20231 yr comment_664258 Yeah, they were a gold medal jersey back in ‘48. They’re not my favourite, but I think they’re cool. http://airforcemuseum.ca/en/special-exhibits/1948-rcaf-flyers

These new ones are ugly, regardless of their history.

I mean I agree but I know others who love it Edited September 25, 20231 yr by Goalie

October 9, 20231 yr comment_668111 Now maybe they will be easier to trade? I give up. All I want is the Mark Scheifele who used to give a darn back, the guy who used to play defense and didn't just float back on the back check. Is that too much to ask?
October 9, 20231 yr comment_668112 This is amazing news. Couldn't be more stoked. When these players are happy and healthy, they are among the best on the planet. Helle is arguably THE best goalie in the world. Bombers are the class of the CFL, Riders are a dumpster fire hoping everyone gets fired, and the Jets just signed arguably their two best players and are building toward a great season. Woo!! October 9, 20231 yr comment_668115 Huge. Really is. Thought Scheifele was likely to go but yeah, good move. Fair AAV for our stars

October 9, 20231 yr comment_668122 Ehlers remains healthy, limited injuries overall, Helle plays Vezina level with LB support, 55 returns to form, Lowry rights the ship helping lockerroom health, depth thru LA trade lives up to its billing, D plays steady, pp/pk aren’t liabilities equals: Hope?
