He's said, on more than one occasion, that he's a good communicator, experienced guy and great in the room. That's the character that he allegedly possesses. Even with our depleted blue line, Bitetto has played way too much.

Maurice has said on the radio at least two times that I've heard where he pointed out Bitetto as being a vocal leader and motivating the guys on the ice during practice and complemented his character. He outright said that he likes his character. I assume Bitetto does this because he knows he sucks and this is his only chance at collecting more NHL pay cheques.
