Is it the coach or the defence?   The pp stinks and there is no change.   This team needs a shakeup.    Maybe Scott Neidermayer is available to play with the Jets.   Kulikov and Bitetto continue to be liabilities to this team.

Does anyone remember if we have a first round draft pick this year or not? because I have trouble keeping track of draft pick trades

Yes.  We don’t have a 4th though.  

Get used to it folks, the best we can ever hope for is a year or two of playoff hockey then back to 7 years of reality. That's all you are gonna get in poor, little old Winnipeg.

D was similar last season. Its the coaching or systems or both.

How was it similar last season? Trouba - gone. Myers - gone. Chiarot - gone. Byfuglien - gone. Basically, the entire right side of the blue line is gone this season and it's been filled with subpar replacements with the exception of Pionk.

I think if you said the Jets should consider a change in D coach, there is merit to it.  We've long had poor D regardless of talent at the position.

It sort of seems like the Jets have hit a wall.  They battled hard but were kept afloat by Helle.  If he cant be superman, Jets arent making the playoffs.

I really think if thats the case, you have to consider a coaching change in the off-season (especially if Maurice is a free agent then).  And we should unload anyone who isnt a part of the future, at the deadline (if we can) for picks and prospects.

Well we have definitely run out of line combinations...  that just leaves the system - too bad it too so long to figure out
