It seems to me that Christmas gifting is redundant this year, as we already have had a great gift. Regardless, my best wishes to all and sundry here in the spirit of the season and a repeat for 2020.

Twas the night before Christmas at IG field

The bomber store selling some merch that appealed

The fans are all happy, some were teared up

For the long drought was ended, the Bombers brought home the cup

The season had ups and the season had downs

But when it mattered the most, the team turned it around

Collaros came in throwing the ball

The defence was amazing, led by Richie Hall

Lapo's attack featured Harris on the ground

With the playoff approaching, confidence was refound

Dreaded Stampeders first on the list

Jefferson and company made Bo Levi pissed

Next on the list were the Losers in green

The game came to an end when they hit the cross beam

Then came the finals, the fight for the mug

The Ticats were talking, boy they were smug

The Bombers showed up expecting a tough bout

By the end of the fourth, there was no doubt

The season had begun with hope and promise

And at the end, Earl Grey,was help up by Jake Thomas

On Hardrick and Bryant and the rest of the Hogs

Dash Demski and Adams and other key cogs

Unsung heroes like Exume and Rempel and Miller

And that German guy, Hansen, the Ticat killer

Nichols and the rest of the guys that were hurt

Picked the rest up and wiped off their dirt

Those that remember the 80's with delight

Can only hope the 2020's will be as bright

O'Shea is re-signed, Walters has too

Now we will need to sign a QB or two

The players have gone home, the season a blur

But everybody remembers, Strevie in a fur

I assume some do have an open fire for chestnut roasting purposes...😉

maybe the wrong holiday, but I am thankful for this place and for all of you, I don't know how much of a Bomber fan I'd be without you.

It’s funny you should mention that, as I was working on a theme for a Blue Christmas Card to send to Riderfans, but they wouldn’t understand the profound meaning behind it
