Given the importance of the Bills-Bengals game (1st and 2nd seeds up for grabs) why did the NFL not just play that one game this coming weekend, push back all the playoff games one week, and skip the week off break before the Super Bowl. Looking for answers other than “that would make too much sense”.

As far as the Chargers losing this game. Does anybody really care in LA? Even in a mega city like LA, the Rams get most of the headlines.
