Can we at least make a valid argument that the Bombers will be much hungrier for a playoff win than the Stamps?  Just hope they play that way.

I've got a strange feeling that this year's Grey Cup Final will be between the 2 teams with the longest Cup droughts.

Been feeling this for awhile....it begins this Sunday.

Ouch...

Consider that the head coach is working on an expiring contract; three quarterbacks – Matt Nichols, Chris Streveler and Zach Collaros – are all pending free agents; ditto for the team’s Most Outstanding Player and Most Outstanding Defensive Player in Willie Jefferson, cornerback Winston Rose – who led the league in interceptions – and two-time reigning CFL Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman Stanley Bryant. And those are just some of the more notable names of players who will need new deals.

Hmmm...I kinda thought that the Bomber performances were darned real, and O'Shea's comment that they are on the road for three games is not reassuring, given the team's road record in the last half of the season.

So there's a ticket code online for half price tickets,ST163

Stubhub is starting to get more inventory.

My plan is to wait for the day of, and see what the stubhub prices are, and if they aren't down enough to just bite the bullet and get a 25 dollar ticket

Think that's what imma do, too...

The Encana announcement will send shock waves through the Calgary economic scene, and people will probably hunker down even more and watch their pennies closely. There isn't going to be a turnaround for the Alberta economy any time soon, no matter how long or hard Kenney whines.

But at least the public sector will be jobless too!
