LA literally just gave him away for a bag of pucks (I'm not trying to disrespect DK) but also literally saved themselves some cash for other things they need.

If he struggles yet again based on the size of his contract and the production expectations that come a long with that contract, at what point can he no longer use the  'it's a new team, a new system, new surroundings for myself and my family, I'm not getting regular linemates to get used to etc etc) to explain his struggles and buy some patience from the Capitals organization?

The Capitals are rolling the dice more than the Kings are here.

And thus far the Caps have rolled a nice lucky seven.

I have a feeling that if they do make a trade it will be for the purpose of helping the moose out even there's no way they're playoff contenders this year

Why would they do that. They don’t even care about the moose really. Moose are done soon. They will call up echl guys if need be. Jets need to make a trade because Stanley is still a starting D for us and we still don’t really have a 2 center

Seth Jones to Florida.

Thought of a weird question walking the dog. While he is playing, he has been traded to another team and the deal has been finalized and approved, does he technically have to come out of the game as he is now property of another team? Or do they write that into the deal that the trade takes effect after the game has been completed? What if he gets hurt during the game? I know they usually pull a player if they think he may get traded that night but just thinking of this specific scenario.

I find this whole Mikko Rantanen situation weird. Obviously something changed after the Hurricanes acquired him. Maybe the Avs know something that no one else does.

Carolina offered him 14 million. Dallas offering 12. Rantanen not playing well in Carolina either makes me wonder if he’s gonna end up back in Colorado in the off season. Maybe that’s his end game.

Just saw. Stars. Man we are in for a tough playoff ride.

It’s only a done deal with an extension and appears that’s not happening. Dallas not going over 12 they say. No extension no deal there. Dallas RHD side is ugly AF tho. And as of today it’s Dallas Colorado round 1. Jets need to win the division and let Dallas and Colorado beat each other up.

Kuzmenko who Calgary traded out of Calgary goes from Philly to LA for a 3rd.

This years draft sucks.

TSN saying no deal with no extension and none yet.

Again, who cares EOD. Go Jets.

Guilty pleasure with these large market teams is they spend a gazillion dollars on a player, he makes off like a bandit with his guaranteed money to support his family and automatically flames out big time.

Bubble wrap anyone?
