Random CFL notes...

- Half-time deficits have been an obstacle that Montreal has overcome this year. They have won 5 times when trailing at the half.
- The Als have a current 3-game home win streak and have not had a 4-game winning home run since the end of 2014.
- Toronto is 0-10 when trailing after the 3rd Quarter. They have one 4th Quarter comeback win however over Winnipeg (28-27).
- The Alouettes are 7-5 in games decided in the last 3:00 and have the most late wins with their total of 7.
- Will Stanback needs 46 yards officially to reach 1,000 this season and tops the CFL with 12 runs of 20+ yards (explosive plays).
- Toronto cut their 2-&-Outs dramatically last week with a season-low of 1. They had 24 of them in their previous 3 games.
- Montreal Penalties - First 8 games: 84 (10.5 per game); Last 7 games: 49 (7.0 per game).
- Toronto did not allow a point off of a T/O last week. IN the previous 3 games they gave up 45 opponent points after T/Os.
- Toronto has used more starters than any other CFL team in 2019 with 51. Next is Ottawa with 49 different starters.
- At 87.1%, Boris Bede has his best FG mark since his rookie year (36-of-40 90% in 2015). He has made 13 in a row.
- Cleyon Laing had 2 Sacks last week and now has 34 for his CFL career

Saskatchewan 1-3 starts with most wins: 1956 10-6, 2017 10-8 & their best at 11-7 in 1993 after their 1-3 opening run.
(In 2019 the Riders started 1-3 and are 9-2 since then)
Saskatchewan Defence - In their 10 wins: 16.1 ppg allowed; In their 5 losses: 33.8 ppg allowed.
BC's defence has allowed just 5 total points in the 1st Quarter over the last 7 games.
Cody Fajardo has a solid chance to lead the CFL in passing yards in 2019. Last debut starter to lead CFL? Tony Adams in 1979.
Saskatchewan Turnovers - In their 10 wins: 7; In their 5 losses: 12.
Saskatchewan has been solid on 2nd down conversions. They have won that battle in 11 of their 15 games.
Cody Fajardo has brought the threat of running out of the backfield after an initial dropback to pass

The loss of Mike Reilly last week keeps at just 2 years since 2003 that they have had their #1 QB start all 18 games.
(2011 Travis Lulay & 2016 Jonathon Jennings)
BC has never had a season without at least one win vs the West. This year BC is 0-8 vs West Division teams.
Solomon Elimimian can still reach 100 defensive tackles by averaging 9 per game. He has 3 previous 100+ seasons.
Danny O'Brien will be making his first career QB Start this week, just the 5th by a BC Lion QB since 2012.

God what I wouldn't give for BC to fluke one out tonight with Danny ******* O'Brien at QB...

Anything can happen in the CFL but I highly doubt this will happen after having a quick glance at their gameday roster.  Must be at least 6 starters Ive never heard of.

I'm thinking fatardo regresses even more this evening...., maybe early sacks on his spin move make him extra nervous,  along with not completing any passes early in the game.  Something he said himself he worries about.  Yep tardo taking a tumble this week would make for some good reading tomorrow.

When he was just a twinkle in his dad's eye?

I'm thinking 2 years ago, three?. TSN talks like he's in a slump.

Game might as well be over.  O'brien and that garbage o-line are not doing crap against the Saskachewan defense.

And now the 12th stringer is in for bc and Sask is celebrating like they just sacked Tom brady
