It’s very satisfying seeing KJ get his first win!! Hope Montreal can surprise some people this season and be competitive.

  • I called for the TiCats to beat the Als but I can live with the Als winning- happy for Khari and the long-suffering Montreal fans.

If the Ticat player touched the ball on the punt block why isn't it the Als ball?

Because the kick crossed the line of scrimmage and the Als player was not onside.  It's basically like any punt if it crosses the line of scrimmage even if it was tipped by the defending/returning team.

The on field product this year is absolutely trash. If I wasn’t so hooked on the CFL because being a fan has been ingrained in me over many many years, I’d hate it.

That rule to protect the punter is horrendous. Soon enough, someone will just start kicking on the run and get tagged every time and his team will never lose the ball. What a dumb rule.

You literally can’t defend anything anymore.

Can you actually physically block a kick and not touch the kicker? That seems nearly impossible.

Maybe if they flub the snap, otherwise pretty impossible, and if that's the rule there's no way teams are going to try to block punts.
