I don’t dispute that casual talent evaluation in the CFL is extremely poor but Franklin’s situation was different. It was a small sample size, but it was overwhelmingly positive. Fajardo has a larger sample size than Franklin did and it’s been overwhelmingly negative up until the last game and a half. And while Ottawa’s defence is only very likely to be very bad, this Toronto defence is already clearly the worst in the league by a wide margin.

Your assessment is correct, but watch CFL.ca tomorrow on his nuts.

There is a reason Fajardo has been a career back up till now..he's not that good and a good game against Ott and so far tonight against whatever it is the argos are is hardly validation..just wait till teams settle in and he plays edm..wpg..cgy(next week) Hamilton.. heck even Ottawa again..you will see his play get back to what it's been..

Reading anything on CFL.ca is an extremely bad idea.

Hey that's not entirely true, they have a pretty good statistical category section that isn't subject to their poor analysis.

His reign as the TSN anointed next great CFL star was extremely short lived.
