That's literally exactly my point. The issue I have is that you're defending Nichols.

Nichols sucks. He can't make a play. Harris drags the team on his back and Nichols can't make an open throw, even when Harris is standing in the flat and not moving. Thus we go two or three plays then punt. This has happened several times. That's why our defense has cracked.

Nichols may not be playing great, but I put the blame more on Lapo.

This has and will always be the problem with Nichols. He's a game manager that needs a strong run game and defense behind him to win. It almost seems he dislikes being forced to throw the ball, he wants to nickle and dime on his own terms. If you get down a couple TD's its goodnight. The problem is the CFL isn't a game manager league.

I never used to mind the Stamps cause they're just a non-factor for me.. but that's so douchey. Now I really hope we come back and burn them

Everyone needs to do better. LaPo, Nichols, Harris, Osh, the D. Really wish Matthews wasn't a Stamp.

The best QB in the league is on pace for 28 points.
Our O is on pace for 12. 

We started at their 50 twice and Nichols has 26 yards of O. 

 

Pretty obvious we are not good enough at that critical position QB . Sorry i am  nichols fan its not his fault. The skill set is not there. This game is over IMO.

What is he 11 years old? Is his mom there to comfort him with all those penalties going against his team?

Dickenson has always been a whiny *****.

Very few positives out of that first half. Offense is pathetic. 

 

Well, I put the heat on mostly Lapo's head not doing anything to fool the defense or creating mismatches.

He's allowing Claybrooks to read everything while playing his men in shell coverage.

We showed Sask u cant win without a QB last week.. Stamps showing us that tonight

Bottom line.. We put up 2 fgs.. They put up TDs. Our O HAS 86 yards.. Lots of that is Harris

One guy wants to make plays and one guy wants to take a knee.

Get Demski and Dressler more involved. Mix in Streveler a bit more. Move Loffler in, tell him to stop looking for the big hit and make a play on the ball.

So first of all, the defence has been very bad. No doubt about that. In fairness to them, good QBs make good defences look bad sometimes but that’s no real excuse. 

With that in mind, Nichols has been horrendous. He relies very heavily on guys being wide open and his receivers making plays after catch. That’s not happening today and he cannot get anything done. 

Harris is pissed.

Exactly. We're at our 5 and everyone knows its going to Harris and he rumbles for 20. Nichols can't make a 10 yard completion. It's impossible to win with garbage QB play.

Nichols favourite play, roll out throw it in the 3rd row, seriously run the ball and throw 10 yard passes really not capable than anymore than that.

Yeah but the frustrating part is that our run game has been acceptable tonight, but he's not helping out Harris.
