There were no return specialists or long snappers. You started somewhere else & did the long snapping. Matter of fact, most Centers could long snap. Bob Swift could long snap. Paul Desjardins before him could long snap. Most younger fans don't seem to realize the CFL existed prior to 1980.

I was a little surprised Bighill even suited up today, but he is now out too. This kind of prep has been done by playoff teams for years.

I recognize that we may need him in the playoffs and an injury to him would be a problem but the guy needs reps and if he’s resistant to even put in his backup in blowouts, there are few better opportunities than a meaningless game.
