All accounts are Stanley is slow. Maybe it’s relative to the overall high team speed of the Jets. But saying that those sane accounts have him looking solid and making good plays. Is strong and nasty.

Jets are always good to play if you want to break a losing streak, no matter what league.

If Lowry is with Copp/Tanev and todays Freep pushed that then we've got a line with Perreault as the only given.

Perreault/Roslo/Dano?

No perreault tonight. Going with the Moose 70 percent tonight

I mean the season lineup. Perreault and guessing Roslo and Dano.

I feel Lowry may have a breakout season this year. Imo he has shown tremendous development. I was not a big fan at thestart but have warmed to him considerably in terms of what he brings to this team.

We've said that about Lowry/Copp every year :)

Stanley having the type of game where he's not sent to the AHL, he's sent to the ECHL!

Another goal for Dano.

Petan's dad died :(

7 goals is about right for the who played tonight.

Stanley looks awful vs the speedy oilers.

He needs time in the A.

Really like Lemieux Roslo Niku Comrie and Dano so far.

3 2 after 2 ain't bad. Comrie keeping it close. Stanley looks lost tonight. So does Trouba also tho so... Yeah. .

Preseason

Edited by Goalie

Well the Oilers trotted out pretty well their whole team tonight against a team filled 3/4 full of AHL players and the final score represented that, Oilers need a second line and better defensive play or they wont may the playoffs again, as for the Jets maybe Dano has maybe figured it out, Niku needs work but he is real close Stanley Poolman Vesalaine are not ready yet, Cormie know he is Moose bound, Lemieux and Roslovic played well.

Lowry lines needs one guy with a scoring touch...  they are pretty dominant - wonder what Copp-Lowry-Perrault would be like...

and apparently the NFL Jets lost last night too

They did, to the Browns. The Cleveland Browns. 😮

It been almost two years since the Browns won.

Its pre season. The goal is to not get hurt. Waste of time and u can tell  some players dont GAF.

Not a waste of time for the bubble players trying the make the show. They aint out there not wanting to get hurt.

Plus not a waste of time for the coaches/management to assess their depth.

Coaches already know who is on the big club.

There's a spot wide open on the third line....  and first call up is definitely a battle

Maybe even couple spots.

Probably right - one forward and one D...

Was thinking Niku would get a shot but I think they'll let him 'age' in the AHL this year - maybe until first injury
