  • I’m not going to freak out and join the “fire everyone” bandwagon but O’Shea and Walters need to have a long hard talk about whether Nichols is the future of this club. Their final determination

  • MBB posters if Bombers do not make a game of it, or if lankford drops a few.

  • Nobody beats Matt Nichols 8 times in a row!

Man, Nichols is just in a hole and he isn't getting out of it right now. I think you really have to pull him at this point - leaving way too many points on the field.

Streveler is honestly the perfect change of pace guy.  As long as Nichols doesn’t get his panties in a bunch about it I could see it being very useful giving Streveler a series here and there and maybe more depending how it goes.

He just looks strong when he runs....... it brings more to the Bombers offence being able to plow ahead like he does...

I will call it now, Bombers have no chance of winning this one (guaranteed loss). After adjustments in the 2nd half I figure Calgary will be able to run up at least a 2 TD lead before the end of the game.

Outside of the trick play with Streveler, Bombers have no sustained offence whatsoever. Nichols is not half the QB that BLM is, and likely deserves all the booing he will be getting after Bombers blow the next 3 or 4 games. They are highly overrated on offence this year, and that is bad, because their defense can not sustain this team. The defense is doing what the defense does... They cannot stop a much better Calgary O and got lucky that BLM was not sharp with his throws in the first quarter. I can see the Bomber D letting Calagary march in for some kind of points on every drive from now until the end of the game.

The score flatters the Bombers, but I expect that will be changing soon.

Plus you open up space for Harris, Demski because Streveler is a huge threat if he keeps it, you have to defend that.  They don’t have to worry about Nichols with the ball at all, just where he might throw it or hand it off to.

The heat on Osh and Nichols will be turned up all second half. Either Nichols gets his act together or he needs to get yanked.

I'd give Strev the whole second half at this point. 89 yards passing in the half isn't going to cut it and we can't afford to waste a few more games.
