We gave them a beat down this week. No doubt about it. That doesn't change my point. They take action when they lose 2 in a row. We don't take action even when we lose 4 in a row.

You seem to piss and moan a lot when we are losing, piss and moan when we are winning...

Piss and moan when only beat teams with a sub .500 record.... piss and moan when we beat a +.500 team...

So what would you do? Who would you fire and who would you bring in? What changes to the starting line up would you make?

  • The Diversity Is Strength campaign is one of the best things the CFL has ever done!!! Players and fans all loved it. By far the highlight of Ambrosie's reign.

  • Collaros is 4-15 since returning from injury... including the 0-8 from last season. This is a guy who has never played more than 14 games in a season and never thrown over 3500 yards.  He has bee

The Bombers almost recovered two kickoffs in Edmonton kicking into the wind because their returner was standing at the 5 waiting for the ball, which came down at the 30.  That's pretty brutal coaching.

I agree, but the STC is the least of their worries. I'm skeptical when Mass says relieving Cory McDiarmid of his duties may spark the team.

Well, that's not really a legit excuse either...

Either they didn't look at him at all or they couldn't close a deal... either way, no one can say Chris Matthews would not help this team

Maybe.  He's not exactly going to be ready to play with 4-7 games left.  Who knows what he wanted for money?  He's also a free agent.

He was god-awful the last season he played here.  He could be a difference-maker, or he could play one game and spend the rest of the season standing on the sideline trying to get into CFL/game shape.

The game is based on 'could be'...  that's why you sign guys.

it was tweeted out at some point that Walters said the Bombers had no interest in Mathews...wasn't message board assumptions...that is why this team flounders...they don't constantly upgrade when opportunity arises and show too much loyalty to whatever scrub makes it out of TC

Knowing nothing about Matthews who hasn't been on a roster for about a year.  We'll see if he can play or not with a half dozen games left for any team.  It's not like signing a guy who played this year or even went to training camp this year.  If he wanted $15,000/game for the last 4 weeks would you give him that?  Calgary is desperate.  Yes the Bombers should probably be too, but I don't know how you integrate that guy into a team this late in a way that lets him make an impact.  He'll be one hell of a special teamer from his time in the NFL anyway.

guys don't sit around on couches these days and do nothing...they are training constantly 24/7 for another shot

And it would be easy to integrate a skill set like that in a lineup pretty seamlessly...it's not like he has never played the Canadian game

Good luck to him moving from the gym to -10 celsius.  Saw what happened to Plesius here signed out of the gym, 3rd kick cover and he was down for half a season.

and no...it's pretty easy to run down our regime for their lack of continually evolving the roster...they even say it as much themselves about being happy with their guys....on many occasions

Great teams continually bring guys in who they think are an upgrade...and obviously he had interest in playing up here as he has signed.

Meant interest in playing with the Bombers.
