I feel bad for Toby.  He made a stellar D play the very sequence before he got burned for that goal.  The kind of stellar play that goes underappreciated because he doesn't play 82 anymore and get 50

I'd wager you've never scored in your life.  How's that?

  • It's actually not complicated.  Will we see the third period Jets or the 00:35 Jets?

Got hammered in Vegas and was hung as balls on game day?

I just don't see that happening. I bet he played video games in his room with Laine the night before the game.

Oh, I don't either, he doesn't seem like the type.  But Vegas is a funny place....

So the Knights are pulling out the hijinks outside the games as well, on top of the ear tickling stuff in game. Day of Game 1, when the Jets had their morning skate, 2 maintenance workers were on the ice holding things up and cutting into the practice time and wouldn't leave when asked. On the off-day, yellow caution tape was put up blocking access to the ice when the Jets arrived for their optional skate. Today, during the Jets' allotted ice time, the lights in the arena were turned off. It's kind of sad but expected when fans do the disrupting, like fire alarm pulls in the visitors hotel at 2 am, but for the club itself to try this kind of nonsense is pure bush league stuff and needs to be addressed by the league.

Has the Vegas club actually been accused of these things ?. ..,or is it just some fan/workers doing this on their own  ?

Its not Vegas. Its the workers at T-Mobile Arena. Apparently the Knights have no say in it...

Ehlers and Laine dont drink.

Is that for sure?  Good to know.

To be clear, I didn't really think Ehlers got blasted in Vegas; a friend brought up the possibility and I said I highly doubt it...  I was just trying to add a little levity to the discussion.

As the primary tenants of the arena, I would think the Knights have some say in the scheduling of stuff, as since the league mandates practice times, media availability, locker room access and such for both teams, this is one area I would say they need to step in and take control of the situation and not allow "random" workers to manipulate things to clearly mess with one team.

having organized a few trade shows in Vegas, I can tell you that the Teamsters there are some of the laziest people I've ever met.  Really hard to get anything done on time.  And they have all the power, because if you try anything to go around them you are basically screwed.
