I thought Bowman retired last year?  Good player but this is a pretty obvious position that Kavis could have used an infusion of younger blood.  I will be literally amazed if Reed is still the Als GM by game 6.

I feel like fighting today. I say 7 games.

I'd take LeFevour over Durant or Glenn based solely on their sideline demeanor. Durant Glenn LeFevour

  • Buckley's going to med school, per the article. Doesn't sound like sneaky roster management. Congrats to Buckley on his med school admission and all the best to him in his next act.  Winning a co

I disagree. Bowman is a leader in a locker room that can desperately use one. Montreal needs some semblance of veteran guidance.

Montreal should really sign Tate they need something at QB other than Freeman

But the problem is that Tate is only good for half a game per season before he gets injured.  And mentally I'm not sure he's quite what you want in a QB and locker room leader.

yup...that early Bowman signing is looking real big now.  I'm happy with what we have on offence now, and we need to focus on defense...I think it is setting up nicely for us to grab who we are targeting

Who are we targeting ?

On offense, I'd think just Demski at this point.

On defense, need a MLB and perhaps another DB. As much as I want Heath to remain a Bomber, I just can't see it happening. :(

I'm thinking we are going after White..Possibly Purifoy at DB...Dean or Reed at linebacker...most likely Dean and possibly a National D-lineman..and Demski

I dont see a national DL.. I think we go 4 Americans with Trent and Faith backing up. And from what Walters hinted at.. Im not sure MLB is gonna be a free agent thing. I think JSK or one of the younger PR guys get a chance. If we do tho.. I see Dean as a possibility... Valdosta State Alumni like Leggett.

Ill say this.. I heard rumors bombers liked Shorthill at the draft but he was taken b4 their pick again. I see signings like that... Depth signings... Value signings... I dont see any of the "big names"

Odd, I was thinking Ted Laurent would have been a good fit here.

Makes the Bowman signing even more important. Running out of good import receivers in FA.

I wonder how much the signing of Bowman impacted pending free-agent receivers.  Perhaps Winnipeg was seen as an reason to hit free-agency but they may have informed certain agents that they are no longer going to be going after top receivers in free-agency.
