I'd take LeFevour over Durant or Glenn based solely on their sideline demeanor. Durant Glenn LeFevour

  • Buckley's going to med school, per the article. Doesn't sound like sneaky roster management. Congrats to Buckley on his med school admission and all the best to him in his next act.  Winning a co

Some clarity on Darian Durant situation. Can confirmed Durant’s 150K bonus is due Jan. 16th (tomorrow). However I’m led to believe the matter of whether the sides can agree on a restructured contract is likely to be resolved by end of Monday. #CFL #Als

Totally agree - just not sure aging injury-prone RB competition is what you want

You're thinking Sutton. I don't think Rutley has ever missed significant time due to injury, and he's the back up to Sutton. He is getting up there in age though.

28 for a rb..should be right in his prime...plus low mileage on him...he prob 2 good years as a feature guy in him easily

Yeah very low mileage. I was always surprised when he would resign with MTL as he has always looked like a solid back. Thought he would have tried to get a starting spot somewhere, earlier in his career.

always thought he would be a better back-up option than Glenn...so now here's our chance...If he had to start a few games he would give us a chance to win...and last year fiasco in Mtl was a team effort in futility...almost looked at times guys on offence couldn't give a eff

pretty sure he knows now that if he wants to be on an active roster he doesn't really hold any negotiating power...it's come down to take it or leave it for best deal he's gonna receive

Im interested in what the Bombers are thinking QB wise going into this season. Durant would be a good backup option but then we'd probably be looking at someone to groom for our 3rd QB ie. Not lefevour.

I don't hate Durant as a #2/QB Coach type thing......pretty sure the #3 this year was going to be one of the developmental guys they had at the end of the year, anyhow...

Maybe - I just never recall Rutley playing a full season...

Let “The Fever” and Davis fight it out for back-up and see what you have in TC for third stringer .   Curious if the club has anyone interesting on the neg list that they could possibly bring in .

Neither of these have shown that they are any better than Drew Willy, so what would be the wisdom in retaining either of them? I say we give Durant a decent, but not exorbitant offer and bring in a couple-three promising rookies.

Josh Straughan and David Washington - are these guys coming back?  Anyone have any idea?

Straughan, FYI, has signed a futures contract with the club, meaning he will be in training camp next year.
