This year when the OL has bought him time (like the 3rd quarter vs sask) he lights it up, when they falter, so does Nichols. this message has been brought to us by

No question a solid O-line is important in maximizing a QB's chance at success. However, you can win with a middle of the pack O-line permitted your QB has the talent. The Eskimos in 2015 demonstrated just that. Perhaps even the same argument could be made for the Lions last season. From 2012-2015, the Bombers had neither.
