Surprised this didn't go to Hamilton.

Sucks for Hamilton for sure.  They are so overdue.  The city and the fans deserve it.  I have heard many times over the last couple of decades about how they aren't able to hold one, but I have never understand it.  They have a great owner, strong team management (notwithstanding the egomaniacal- but still competent head coach) and a super fan base. 

Still all-in for an Edmonton Grey Cup!

Way prefer Edmonton to Hamilton from a personal perspective.

The wife has family out in Edmonton, I could totally make this work.

I read a couple weeks ago that it's been down to Edmonton and Calgary for awhile now. The league was deciding between their two bids. 

I think it's pretty much a guarantee that Hamilton gets it when they actually want it but they don't feel they are in a position to host the thing at this time. 

HAM isn t ready yet. Too many stadium and legal issues. Hotel space and hospitality questions remain too.
