My dad's all time favourite hockey player. I was raised with stories about how tough this guy was. Even though my guy was Grant Fuhr when I was growing up in the 80s/90s, I was a goalie and wore #1 because of Bower.....a legit legend in every sense of the word...

In 1967, Canada's Centennial it was the Leafs vs the Canadiens for the Stanley Cup. Terry Sawchuk & Johnny Bower vs Gump Worsley.  How much more Canadian was that??
