The fact they wont waive him to the Moose means they think someone will take him AND they dont want him taken for nothing. He's also been a guy plugged into the line up when there are holes to fill. Jets obviously see some value in a young, talented player who is still cost controlled for X number of years. Lawless reported the Jets were shopping him. So we can assume that is true. I see Burmi as an add-in to sweeten the pot in a larger trade. Maybe involving Stafford to a team looking for some depth for a playoff run.
