"Reporting from Washington —

The chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Tulare), conceded Monday that the source for a dramatic statement he made last week about possible intelligence surveillance of members of President Trump’s transition team was someone he had met with at the White House.

The disclosure, showing coordination between the White House and Nunes, added to questions about whether the congressman could lead the intelligence panel in an impartial investigation of Russian involvement in the presidential election and possible links to Trump’s advisers. The panel’s ranking Democrat, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Burbank), issued a statement Monday afternoon saying that Nunes should step aside from the investigation."

Hannah Arendt.....written in 1951:

"Mass propaganda discovered that its audience was ready at all times to believe the worst, no matter how absurd, and did not particularly object to being deceived because it held every statement to be a lie anyhow. The totalitarian mass leaders based their propaganda on the correct psychological assumption that, under such conditions, one could make people believe the most fantastic statements one day, and trust if the next day they were given irrefutable proof of their falsehood, they would take refuge in cynicism; instead of deserting the leaders who had lied to them, they would protest that they had known all along the statement was a lie and would admire the leaders for their superior tactical cleverness."

So... now is the time for Russia to Invade Canada?

Not really. There was a godawful editorial in the National Post that whined about this.  (Wait, do I have to write godawful National Post editorial or is it common knowledge all editorials in the NP are godawful? I assumed they all are now).

My Nat Sec crush, Stephanie Carvin, addressed this:

The one expert against impeachment supported impeaching Clinton lol

Funny- this is Turley 23 years ago.

“[Turley] did speak to the anger in the country, but he also said that the president’s call was less than perfect. He said that the asking for an investigation into Biden was highly inappropriate. And he (Turley) said that if the facts of a quid pro quo are proven to be true, it is an impeachable offense. So I want to be sure that we understand what even the Republican witness is saying about the conduct of the president of the United States,” Cedric Richmond said.

If you have done nothing wrong you have nothing to hide, pure and simple, have all the President's cronies in the WH testify and be question instead claiming absolute immunity.
