The minute Trump is gone begins the international rebuild by the new President who I assume will be Democrat. Alliances will be strengthened but trust will take longer to take effect.

The US is nothing but a regional power now. They are nothing but a bit player in world politics now. They can't even stand up to Turkey.

They are weak.

We have some truly crap politicians but we're much, much better than anything going on south of the 49.

Every leader must still stand up and answer questions of the elected officials. Our media hold them to account.

Nothing that is happening down south could ever happen here.

I'm not so casual about that.  Harper was doing Trump policy before Trump even ran.  His reptilian personality was much less showman than Trump, but the results were the same.  Now Alberta is introducing a bill to make getting abortions more difficult.  The Republicans and Conservatives are all running and governing according to the Heritage Foundation's playbook.

Look at how corrupt Kenney's leadership campaign was.  It not only can happen, it already has.

Donald Trump to pay $2 million to settle New York Attorney General civil lawsuit against Trump Foundation and his children

(CNN)A judge ordered President Donald Trump to pay $2 million to a collection of nonprofit organizations as part of a settlement with the New York state attorney general's office to resolve a civil lawsuit that alleged "persistent" violations of charities law that included unlawful coordination with the 2016 Trump presidential campaign, according to a court filing Thursday.

Filed in June 2018, the lawsuit alleged that the President and his three eldest children -- Don Jr., Ivanka and Eric -- violated federal and state campaign finance laws and abused the Donald J. Trump Foundation's tax-exempt status. According to the lawsuit, the Trumps allowed the foundation to be used "as little more than a checkbook to serve Mr. Trump's business and political interests."

Prosecutors have unveiled evidence of Roger Stone urging a witness in former Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation not to testify through a series of threats and incendiary messages.

The texts were shown during the Republican operative’s criminal trial that kicked off this week. Mr Stone, who was arrested earlier this year, is charged with witness tampering, obstructing justice and lying to congressional investigators. He denies all the charges.

In a text message to Randy Credico, a radio host, Mr Stone wrote: “You are a rat. A stoolie. You backstab your friends-run your mouth my lawyers are dying Rip you to shreds.”

He added: “I am so ready. Let’s get it on. Prepare to die [expletive].”

Seriously can't wait till this is all over and the mini series, documentaries- movies and books about this dark chapter in US history... it will be compelling to watch/read/hear about all this...

Oh, Trump will be gone but his legacy will live on for generations. Think of all the judges they've put into place? All the diplomatic screw ups and relationships ruined? Think of the horrible state of NATO now? Think of the young Kurds who see the US as traitors and cowards? Think of all the environmental protections that have been eliminated? Think of all the debt he's accumulated? Etc, etc, etc.

For the US, this is just the beginning.

sort of reminds me the time Stephanie McMahon compared 9/11 to the government prosecuting her dad.

man are they dumb.

But, they are the perfect whining flag bearers for the modern self pitying grumbling oh so hard done by conservatives.

life has been so unfair for the Trumps.  And they've sacrificed so much for their fellow countrymen, without any appreciation! 😂

Even see it at this site, get fact checked, proven wrong, and the whining commences.
