Poor Trump, the Russian investigation was about hurting his reelection chances, same with his impeachment, and don't forget Covid 19, and the cherry on top the riots, it's all about him, history will decimate Trump and his only footnote will be that he was the worst most incompetent president in the history of the United States.

For intimidation and to make Trump feel warm and fuzzy.  The Chairman has no authority over anyone and is, in fact, barred by law from having command authority.  He is a General and the highest ranking military member though so if he was wearing his uniform, that would be fine.  But battle fatigues?

To show how super serious Trump is! He's walking through a war zone!

Give it time and Trump is going to start wearing a military uniform and have some impressive looking medals and ribbons.
