Only one person can win and as I said earlier, Bernie does the anti corporate thing a lot better.

I think Warren is probably the best candidate from an objective point of view, but can't deny that Bernie is good at sticking to the message and it resonates with voters. He's the best choice because a debate between he and Trump will be a lot of fun to watch.

Bernie rated higher against Trump then Hillary 4 years ago.

I think it will be Mayor Pete simply because Bernie is not a officially a Democrat.

And look at how forcing their establishment candidate through worked out for them then.

If they don't make the right choice this time it'll be the end of the charade of democracy in the states. They need someone who don't give a **** to try and fix the current mess down there.

His socialism wont and his age wont and his heart attack wont.  And God forbid he have another one during a national campaign.  He's the best candidate for Trump because the election turns into a referendum on Bernie and not Trump.

The Mayor has really surprised me.  I didnt think the US was ready to accept a gay candidate.  It almost seems like it doesnt matter.  How refreshing.  He's be excellent against Trump.  They cant really attack his experience since Trump's an idiot.  And you know him and his base will get real dirty and that will turn off moderates.

A referendum on Bernie vs. Trump is a slam dunk for Sanders.

I hope im wrong but....it wont be about character.  It will be about age, health and "do you want your taxes to skyrocket to pay for socialism?"

... or anti fossel fuel policies killing tens of thousands of jobs, or open borders immigration driving down wages, free health care for illegal aliens,  or partial birth abortion, gun confiscation ..

Yeah, Sanders is in that sweet spot for the average voter.

Has essentially  all the voter alienating leftist policies Sanders has yet still advertised by media as a "centrist".

Unfortunately.

I foresee a huge ramping up  of cheating in this next election. Couple that with Barr being the gatekeeper of which campaigns get investigated- it's actually very possible (65%) chance trump gets another 4 years...

Id have said that we were looking better this time but what has happened since the Senate made Trump King, has been rather shocking.  The DOJ is now an arm of Trump International Crime Syndicate and Barr is his underboss.  Its wild.  People really need to get out and vote and hope the GOP doesnt actually cheat so overtly as to ignore votes or rig votes./  We know Russia will do their thing unmolested.  But overwhelming voting is really the only thing that can save the US.

Even if there is overwhelming evidence of cheating... what is going to be done with it?

Seriously... if there is a huge scandal that breaks saying that election ballots where destroyed (all Democratic ones), votes we tallied incorrectly to give trump and win- no matter how slim...what in the absolute **** is going to happen?

Seriously... nothing matters anymore. The GOO is 100% complicit in keeping yhis monster in power.... and since no USA citizen that votes GOO, will hold them accountable.... what is the incentive to go against their long track of being cowards and enablers...

That country is ******.

If they haven't realized their house is on fire by now... there really is no hope for those people.

Even before the crowning ceremony, Barr interfered into earlier court proceedings.

Well he did interfere with the Flynn sentencing.

He's killed off at least 8 investigations onto trump and trump campaign related cases...

He's is the roy Cohn that trump has been searching for.

Trump controls are three pillars of gov't. If you think things are bad now, watch the effects over the next 20 years. He is the most corrupt person to ever hold office and his cronies are complicit.

As they say, the GOP are happy when Trump **** in their mouth as long as the Democrats have to smell it.

What worries me is the deeper the GOP dig, the more desperate they will be to never lose their grip on power.  They have to know, if the Dems were to keep the house, win the Senate and win the White House, they're all screwed.  I dont buy for a second that the Dems would "just move on".  They'd do it the right way by empowering the DOJ and FBI to do their jobs and it would end up with a lot of Trump cronies in trouble.  Barr could end up before Congress.

The Billion-Dollar Disinformation Campaign to Reelect the President

How new technologies and techniques pioneered by dictators will shape the 2020 election.

Story by McKay Coppins

Updated at 2:30 p.m. ET on February 10, 2020.

One day last fall, I sat down to create a new Facebook account. I picked a forgettable name, snapped a profile pic with my face obscured, and clicked “Like” on the official pages of Donald Trump and his reelection campaign. Facebook’s algorithm prodded me to follow Ann Coulter, Fox Business, and a variety of fan pages with names like “In Trump We Trust.” I complied. I also gave my cellphone number to the Trump campaign, and joined a handful of private Facebook groups for MAGA diehards, one of which required an application that seemed designed to screen out interlopers.

........

The story that unfurled in my Facebook feed over the next several weeks was, at times, disorienting. There were days when I would watch, live on TV, an impeachment hearing filled with damning testimony about the president’s conduct, only to look at my phone later and find a slickly edited video—served up by the Trump campaign—that used out-of-context clips to recast the same testimony as an exoneration. Wait, I caught myself wondering more than once, is that what happened today?

.........

What I was seeing was a strategy that has been deployed by illiberal political leaders around the world. Rather than shutting down dissenting voices, these leaders have learned to harness the democratizing power of social media for their own purposes—jamming the signals, sowing confusion. They no longer need to silence the dissident shouting in the streets; they can use a megaphone to drown him out. Scholars have a name for this: censorship through noise.

...........

The campaign is run from the 14th floor of a gleaming, modern office tower in Rosslyn, Virginia, just outside Washington, D.C. Glass-walled conference rooms look out on the Potomac River. Rows of sleek monitors line the main office space. Unlike the bootstrap operation that first got Trump elected—with its motley band of B-teamers toiling in an unfinished space in Trump Tower—his 2020 enterprise is heavily funded, technologically sophisticated, and staffed with dozens of experienced operatives. One Republican strategist referred to it, admiringly, as “the Death Star.”

After Iowa,  Kavanaugh, Mueller, Impeachment don't know any thinking person can think Democrats are on the side of the ethical angels.
