September 24, 20168 yr comment_225910 I have an odd feeling about this game. Not sure if it's a good or bad odd feeling tho. Tsn sure pimping the stamps tho and normally when they do that.... it backfires

It'll be lots of Messam until we demonstrate that we can stop him. 16 runs for 137 yards last time. At 6'3" and 263 LBs he is a load. Once you start to key on him it opens up Calgary's passing attack. If they get out to a massive lead like they did last time it could be over quick. If we can stuff Messam and let our ball hawks do their thing then we could be in good shape. The key is Messam. Not much Messam so far - they are stopping him
September 24, 20168 yr comment_225914 Did we actually go to Cal. with the intention of winning this game...sure couldn't tell by that first half performance....What a stinker...We don't look like we care if we're playing or not...Guess we're not in the elite part of the league yet judging by this pathetic crap.

The truth is it looks like several other starts minus the turnovers
September 24, 20168 yr comment_225918 I didn't expect a win but had hopes. This is pathetic so far. Leaving the middle of the field wide open letting the Stamps receivers get open all day. Nichols and the offence look intimidated and out of sync. And what the hell Johnny Adams? Just fall on it for !@#$'s sake. Maybe they can make it respectable in the 2nd half.
September 24, 20168 yr comment_225920 If he hadn't touched it, it would have been no yards. The players who recovers for the 'dribbling team' has to be onside.
September 24, 20168 yr comment_225922 Calgary receivers can't be covered, they are just too fast it seems.
September 24, 20168 yr comment_225924 Calgary is a good team .. but Winnipeg just hasn't shown up today. So disappointing.
September 24, 20168 yr comment_225925 Calgary is the class of the league have been for many years, we are playing catch up in every facet of our organization and still need some changes.

Duane Ford just shot that theory down. Only considered a kick if it had gone out of bounds (according to Forde). If Calgary had touched it first they would have been penalized, but we touched it and did Calgary a huge solid. Adams should have just fallen on it.

Not a theory at all, that's the rule for a dribbled ball, which is what the call was. You have to be onside in order to recover a dribbled ball, which was negated when Adams touched it
September 24, 20168 yr comment_225931 Is this the same club that was playing the first half?...Mike O weaving his magic....wow....Even if we don't pull this one out we certainly look like the club I thought we were...Quite the turnaround..GoBombers
September 24, 20168 yr comment_225935 ugh. im a mixture of heart broken and very impressed with our team. 20 seconds. 20 seconds.
September 24, 20168 yr Author comment_225939 We lost but I think we definitely sent a message that we didn't have a 7 game winning streak for no reason.
September 24, 20168 yr comment_225940 Cal. seemed to march at will when they needed to......Crappy outcome ...but we can't hang our heads after that one...I thought O'Shea should have challenged that last catch by Cal. that put them in the position to win it...nothing to lose at that point except the game.
September 24, 20168 yr comment_225941 Gotta say though that the Bombers could of folded the tent after the 1st half but they did not, we didn't win but the Stamps know they were in a football game really showed the progress this team has made this year
